Equipo Femenino La Vega (Dominican Rep.-United Cup) signed 28-year old American ex-international point guard Kristina Puthoff-King (180cm-92, college: Richmond) for 2021 United Cup of Champions. She just played at KFUM Uppsala Basket in Swedish Damligan. In 11 games she had 12.1ppg, 5.4rpg, 3.5apg and 1.8spg last season. The previous season Puthoff-King played at Rheinland Lions in German Bundesliga where in 16 games she recorded very impressive stats: 24.8ppg, 7.9rpg, 6.9apg and 2.7spg. She helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. 2019-2020 was a great season as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year. Puthoff-King was a member of USA Senior National Team between 2015 and 2016.

She is quite experienced player. Puthoff-King has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in France (Reze), Iceland (Grindavik), Lebanon (Chabibeh), Romania (Cluj Napoca), Spain (Mataro), Switzerland (Pully) and WUBA (GIE Matrix).

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Puthoff-King's team won Mediterranean Cup in 2019. She was also voted AsiaBasket.com All FIBA Jones Cup Player of the Year back in 2016.

Puthoff-King is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.

She attended University of Richmond until 2014 and it is her eighth season as a professional player.

Puthoff-King could be described: Kristina King is a great scorer, that can run the court with the ball very easily and can penetrate. She is a good short and long distance shooter. She is coming from a very big program the University of Richmond, where she was a leader for her school. She can play equally the position of Shooting Guard and Small Forward.
